1. If I see a pothole or anything that impairs the normal flow of traffic, such as loose manhole covers, debris in the street or flooding, is there anywhere online that I can report it?

2. I need to have my street swept. There is a lot of broken glass in the street

The Street Department tries to sweep all the streets in the City every month or so, depending on equipment and weather conditions. If you have a request you can call 918-542-6685 and make a sweeping request. Please give the operator a cross street or a block address, like the 300 block of Central NE, and a work order will be made and your street should be swept within a week.

3. What do I do if a stop sign is missing, damaged, or faded?

Call dispatch to report the problem at 918-542-6685. Please have the following information available when you call:
•Where is the sign located?
•What are the street names including St. or Blvd. or Ave. and NW, NE, SE, etc.
•For the sign in question, what direction is the traffic going?
•If it is a residential street, what are the nearby main cross streets?
•Is the sign coming out of a parking lot or private property? (Such as: a business, church, school, etc.) Signs leaving private parking lots are privately owned. You need to contact the store or property Management.
•Is the sign is wooden or painted and within a park or recreation area?

4. How do I report a stop sign that is blocked and cannot be seen?

Call dispatch at 918-542-6685 and your concern will be given to the Right of Way Department for investigation, analysis and/or repair. Please have the following information available when you call:
• Where is the sign located? What is the address of the property where the trees are growing?
• What are the street names including St. or Blvd. or Ave.
• For what direction of travel is the stop sign blocked?
• If it is a residential street, what are the nearby main cross streets?
• Is this a City intersection?
• Is the sign coming out of a parking lot? (Such as: a business, church, school, etc) Signs leaving private parking lots are privately owned. You need to contact the property owner or manager.

5. How do I report a missing street name sign?

Call 918-542-6685 to report the missing sign. Please be prepared to have the following information ready when you call:
• Is this a City intersection?
• Where is the sign located?
• What are the street names including St. or Blvd. or Ave., NW, NE, SW, SE
• If it is a residential street, what are the nearby main cross streets?
The street department will investigate, analysis and/or replace the missing sign if it is city property.

6. Where do I report a street light that is out, cycles on and off or one that stays on during the day?

Call 918-542-6685 to report the light and the Electric Department will look into the problem.
Please have the appropriate information from the following list available to describe the location of the location of the light(s):
• Address
• Side of the street
• Intersection of Streets including designation as St., Blvd., Ave., etc.
• Distance from intersection

7. What do I do if there is a traffic signal out, or if the signal equipment has been damaged or is missing?

For all traffic signals within the City of Miami, call dispatch at 918-542-6685. Please have the following information available when you call:
• What are the cross streets where the signal is located?
• What direction of travel is the light out for?
• Is it a red, yellow or green light?
• Is the light mounted over the traffic, on a median, on a corner?
• What is damaged or missing?
• Are all the lights out?
The electric department will look into the problem.

8. How do I get a pothole repaired?

Fill out the on-line Street Repair Form here or Call 918-542-6685 and request a Pothole Repair, give the cross streets or address to include direction of travel (ex: eastbound or westbound) pothole is located. Also, indicate if the hole is dry or if it contains water (water can indicate a water or sewer line break). Street Department will assess and repair area or immediately refer to the appropriate department for repair. Form

9. How does the City prioritize the snow removal effort during a storm?

During a snow storm Street Department crews are mobilized. The City's first priority is to plow and de-ice all major arterial streets leading to emergency entrances and exits such as hospitals, police and fire stations. Providing all arterial streets are plowed and de-iced, efforts are then focused on feeder streets.
