Overview
This Division processes all residential and commercial wastewater in accordance with local, state, and federal effluent requirements which include the proper disposal of bio-solids in an environmentally acceptable manner at the permitted beneficial reuse site.
Pollution Control treats an average of 2.0 MGD (million gallons per day) for all liquids that enter the sanitary sewer system infrastructure and discharges the treated water into the Neosho River. Stormwater does not enter the sewer system and is not treated prior to entering the Neosho River.
