The Community Development Department oversees the development of land within the City of Miami, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations, in order to protect and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents. The goal is to maintain a community that is well planned and constructed to promote the city as a desirable place to live work and invest.
